How to use it
- A typical MR3 setup (Synthesis based on the product page and the SLZB-OS manual): one radio as the Zigbee coordinator for ZHA or Z2M via the network socket (
tcp://<ip>:6638), the other as an OpenThread Border Router for Thread and Matter. Both from one PoE device. - On dual-radio devices the Z2M/ZHA settings in SLZB-OS appear for each radio separately, and each is configured on its own. SLZB-OS manual
- The configuration generator in SLZB-OS prints the adapter type and port for Z2M (
configuration.yaml) or ZHA. For the CC2674P10 that's the ZNP family, for the MG24 EZSP/Ember. SLZB-OS manual product page - Modes, Zigbee Hub mode, security and migration are covered on the Zigbee page in the SLZB section and in Zigbee coordinator migration.
Security
Vendor recommendations SLZB-OS manual:
- Web UI login with a strong password.
- Set the socket IP whitelist to the HA or Z2M server.
- In normal operation, disable the web UI while the socket is connected.
- Password-protect the fallback Wi-Fi AP.
